One of Australia’s finest voices returns to Foundry 616 with her powerhouse band, set to wow audiences once again with her swinging jazz and Latin grooves.
“The greatest gift to Australian Jazz Vocals in the last decade” is how James Morrison, Australia’s most awarded jazzman, describes Emma Pask, and with numerous awards and both international and Australia-wide acclaimed performances to her credit (including The Queen Elizabeth Hall with the BBC Concert Orchestra), Emma has firmly established herself and one of the countries favourite voices in jazz.
Her independent jazz album ‘Some other Spring’ reached number one on the Jazz Charts for many weeks and in 2013 Universal Music signed Emma to their label and her follow-up album, ‘Season of my heart’ also held the number one position on the Jazz Charts for many weeks as well as receiving an ARIA nomination.
‘Cosita Divina’ released September 2015 is another self produced project from Emma, exploring her love for Latin/Jazz Fusion.
Come and experience the magic of Emma Pask yourself in the intimate setting of Sydney’s most stylish jazz club, Foundry616.
